'Nanban'release details in here!

Shankar's upcoming multi-starrer 'Nanban' is all set to grace theatres across the world on January 12, 2012. The film sees 'Ilayathalapathy' Vijay as Panchavan Parivendan, Jiiva as Sevalkodi Senthil and Srikanth as Venkatramakrishnan. Ileana is the heroine. the remake of Bollywood's  '3 Idiots' is all set to entertain the Tamil audience too.

'Nanban' sees veteran actor Sathyaraj as Virumandi Santhanam (Virus) and Sathyan as Srivatsan. You can expect class along with mass from Shankar, who has given some best entertainment films to Indian cinema. Also get ready to witness the first time association of Shankar with Vijay! The film has music by Harris Jayaraj and 'Nanban' is produced by Gemini Film Circuits.

So get set to watch yet another spell binding entertainer from the school of Shankar.

the new Ilayathapalathy-film, which is to be directed by Deivathirumagal fame Vijay, is to be scored by G V Prakash. Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who is already on a roll with two back-to-back hits -- Kaavalan and Velayudham -- will join hands with director AL Vijay, who too is riding a success wave, in 2012 to make a romantic action thriller.

Now, with GV Prakash joining this team, the combination becomes even more formidable.

Says director Vijay, "It is true. GV Prakash will be composing for the songs in my film with Vijay. Vijay will join us after finishing his ongoing projects with director Gautham Menon and AR Murugadoss. It is too early to discuss my project. We haven't finalised the heroine yet. The story will be a love-cum-action thriller." GV Prakash, who signed the deal on Tuesday morning, says, "After Thandavam, I will be starting my work for Vijay's new film. This is the first time I'm composing music for actor Vijay. It's exciting because I have always been his fan and so I will definitely be tuning some dance numbers."

The youngster adds, "Nothing has been started yet. It's all in the pre-production stage. So I have no idea about the script or what kind of genre I will be composing for this film."

Thuppakki Shooting Update


         Ilayathalapathy Vijay,A.R.Murugadass,Kajal Agarwal and Harris Jayaraj joined in a "Thuppakki" film.Santosh sivan is the Camerman of Thuppaki.Right now shooting going on in a various place of Mumbai East.1st schedule will be over by this month end.We hope A.R.Murugadass will give a different film for Ilaya Thalapathy.

Vijays Next Venture as Thuppakki

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's upcoming movie NANBAN is on cards and would be released for pongal. The audio of the movie would be shortly released during the coming weeks in december. This movie is directed by ace director Shankar and music is done by Harris Jeyaraj. Jeeva, Srikanth, Ileana, Satharaj would play other prominent roles in the movie. The teaser which got released recently has created a lot of expectations for the audio and movie too.

On the other hand, Vijay's next movie with A.R.Murugadoss would be starting on December 5, 2011. Kalaipuli Thanu will be the producer of this movie and the movie has been titled as THUPAKKI. One could guess, whether it Vijay might be seen in a cop role too. The cinematography would be handled by Santosh Sivan and Harris would be scoring off the songs. Murugadoss and Thanu have planned to finish the movie as soon as possible, within next 6 to 7 months, after which Vijay would be joining hands with Gautam for YOHAN - ADHYAYAM ONDRU.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay-Karthi considered for Vishnuvardhana remake

          Sudeep's Vishnuvardhana has certainly drawn the attention of various film industries. We recently reported about the Kannada movie being remade in the Telugu and about the plans of remaking it in the Bollywood. Now, the latest buzz is that Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Karthi are being considered for the Tamil version of the movie.

Director P Kumar, who was a former assistant of maverick filmmaker KS Ravikumar and K Bhagyaraj, had arranged a special screening of Vishnuvardhana for his mentors. After watching the film, the Padayappa filmmaker praised the young director and said that the screenplay is well-written and it can be remade in Tamil.

The Vishnuvardhana director thanked his guru for his appreciation and said that he wants to remake it in Tamil with Vijay. However, KS Ravikumar felt that Karthi, the brother of Surya, would be the right choice for the character played by Sudeep.

Meanwhile, producer Yogish, the son of actor Dwarakish, is planning to produce the Tamil version of Vishnuvardhana. The announcement about the Kollywood version is expected to be made in January second week.

Vishnuvardhana directed by P Kumar also stars Bhavana and Priyamani in the key roles.

3D music launch of Nanban creates ripples

Coimbatore: When Shankar teams up with Ilayathalapathy Vijay, the stage surely gets set for an extravaganza.

Kovai stood witness to the music launch of Shankar’s latest movie ‘Nanban’ which is the remake of Rajkumar Hirani’s super hit Hindi movie ‘3 Idiots’.

The ‘3 Idiots’ in Shankar’s flick are Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth. Ileana D’Cruz is the leading lady while Harris Jayaraj has composed the soundtrack and background score.

The 3D audio launch was a night to remember for those present at the Hindustan College of Arts and Science. The audio was launched to the tune of “En frienda pole yaaru machan”. Kovaimakkal also got to see a 3-minute trailer of the movie as a special gift.
The show began on a high note with 20 Turkey belly dancers grooving to tune of ‘Askku Laska`.

Apart from the lead troika, actors Prabhu, Sathyaraj and Sathyan were also present at the do and they did add to the fun-filled ambience by regaling the audience with their brand of humour.
Ilayathalapathy gave a personal touch to the event when he sang a few lines of the 16-language ‘Askku Laska`.

Shankar was, as always, his humble self. The super hit director who delivered some of the biggest hits in recent years said that the credit for ‘Nanban’ should all go to Rajkumar Hirani.
