Venkat Prabhu to work with Vijay

Venkat Prabhu was present at the Mugamoodi audio launch function in which Vijay was the main attraction. To a query from Vijay's fans, on whether he would direct their star in the near future, Venkat Prabhu said that as soon as he gets the Ilaya Thalapathy's dates, he would start work on a project with him.

Vijay's fans were elated on hearing this, as expected. After Mankatha, Venkat is on a high pedestal among Tamil cinema fans and now he is busy with the Karthi starrer Biriyani.

Vijay's Yohan will have sequels!!!

Vijay is almost done with Thuppakki, with just two more songs left. But the buzz for his next action thriller, Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru for Gautham Menon has already started. The shoot for the film is expected to start very soon. We now hear that Yohan will also have sequels.
It was earlier reported that Shruthi Haasan will pair up with Vijay in this film, which the makers have dusted away as rumours. Gautham Menon is reportedly hunting for a Hollywood lass to be a part of the film.

Yohan and its follow ups will entirely be shot in foreign locations. The first part, Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru will be shot in the Great Britain.

Stay order for Thuppaki?

Vijay's movie Thuppaki under AR Murugadoss's direction has been issued a stay order from releasing the film.
The reason being pettitioner Ravi Devan director of an upcoming movie Kalla Thuppaki has stated that he has already registered the title way back in 2009 and has been renewing it since then. It is also said that, with Thuppaki the title similar to Kalla Thuppaki would raise confusions among the audience.
Kalla Thuppaki is scheduled to release this year and the director wants Thuppaki the Vijay movie's title to be changed to avoid confusions over further proceedings. It is also said that Ravi Devan has filed a complaint at the director's union and the Producers council but with no justice served has stepped on to court.
Now, the court has given a ban on Thuppaki's release and have ordered Kalaipuli S Thanu the producer to come out for clarifications.
