Thuppaki - Latest Update - Santosh Sivan


A.R.Murugadoss' Thuppakki, starring Ilayathalapathy Vijay is proceeding at great vigour, with energetic people all around. With such people around we know that there are no boundaries for innovations. Cinematographer Santosh Sivan seems to be enjoying his work thoroughly as he has been trying out all the new techniques.
The ace cinematographer has updated in a micro-blogging site, “Most of Thuppakki is being shot in real locations, with hidden cameras”.
Similarly, choreographer Shobi Paulraj, who recently shot for a song in the film updated, “Last week, we shot the song in Thuppakki. The song was sung by Mr.Vijay, and composed by Mr.Harris Jayaraj. It was a superb experience... And for first time I’m working with Santhosh Sivan sir. It was unforgettable. Audio is superb... hope visual also comes out well...”
With such stalwarts working in the film, we can expect a visual treat for sure!

Thuppaki shot with hidden cameras

 
Actor Vijay starrer Thuppaki  is being shot in some real locations with hidden cameras, said its cameraman Santosh Sivan. The ace cinematographer has said that director AR Murugadoss wanted the film to be realistic and decided on some real locations.

Thuppaki is being shot in Mumbai now and the team will be flying down to Bangkok soon for the next schedule.

'Thupaki' first look soon - Film for Aug 15?


Vijay will be showcasing the suave avatar in him to audience through 'Thupaki' that sees him as a cop. The first look of this biggie is touted to be unveiled on Tamil New Years, April 13. It is further said that the makers are planning to release 'Thupaki' on Independence Day, August 15.
AR Murugadoss has reportedly expressed that shooting is taking place in a full swing all day and night and that the film's first look will be out soon. Shoot is currently on in Mumbai and buzz is that the script demands live locations and thus the team is shooting several scenes in live locations with hidden cameras!
Vijay will be seen as an encounter specialist and Kajal as his lady love. Jayaram and Vidyut Jamwal, the newest addition to the country's baddies, play the two villains. Music is by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography is by Santosh Sivan. The team has managed to rope in the top most technicians from the country for the project. Sathyan who was last seen with Vijay in 'Nanban' will provide comic relief in this film as well.
More than half the shoot has been wrapped. The team canned a few songs and scenes in Bangkok and is now shooting some talkies and action sequences in Mumbai.
